Michael Middleton

When our 18 month old spaniel became lame we took him immediately to our vet. Laddie is very shy around other people and the vet was unable to give him a full examination. He was prescribed anti inflammatory medication and rest. Although Laddie responded well to the treatment the lameness was still evident at times. The next step with the vet would have meant X-rays and we hoped to avoid that. Louise was able to win Laddie’s trust very quickly and was able therefore to examine him. We were advised to stop throwing balls for Laddie and to introduce fish into his diet, and Cod liver oil, and also to continue with the anti inflammatory medication. The result has been that the lameness has gone away and I am pleased that my pet insurance company also respect complementary therapy such as massage.
